Hi Folks,
Well the nights are drawing in and what better reason to have loads of stuff going on? Not that we need a reason, having fun is part of being here at Abbeyfield.
We thought we would give you all some idea of what Helen and Natalie are doing for our loved ones. – personally speaking I ‘m exhausted just reading it!
But seriously isn’t it great to see so much going on for our folks and such variation in activities – surely something in there for all. I must admit it is great to see everyone joining in and having a good time. I know the family history activity is proving really popular and is discovering some real personal treasures.
Also, great to see some events raising valuable funds for other great charities e.g. the Breast Cancer awareness day raising £77 for a truly worthwhile cause – well done everyone.
I think that the intergenerational events are really good, and it is always great to see the youngsters and our folks engaging as they do – it must bring back so many happy memories.
I could go on but I’ll let you see for yourself as you look through the pictures.
Have a look at the Remembrance Day displays – they are quite moving. We will remember them!
And finally dates for your diary – how are we going to fit it all in?
I’m sure we’ll manage
Until next time.
John
